Starship Galactica. Has anyone gotten this to run on a non-wwiv
system
using nfu to create the chain.txt file? I'm also using doorway to
run
the game, but might be able to use nf /m /i1 to use netfoss with i mode. This is the space invaders game I've been trying to
find.
I didn't realize it would be so hard to run, though...
My batch file looks like:
c:\ele\nf\nfu . /C cd \ele\doors\galaga
C:\ele\doorway\doorway.exe
COM1F /T:300 /B:X /S:* /G:ON /V:D /CD /H: /O:T /P:c:\ele\doors\galaga\starship.exe c:\ele\node%1\CHAIN.TXT
The last 2 lines wrapped and are a single doorway command.
I'm getting the error: Error reading CHAIN.TXT...
I tried using doormaster 5.8 (dm58.zip) to convert the dropfiles:
dm.exe /f=ra /t=wwiv
Which resulted in a file that the game could read! Unfortunately, the ansi output from the game doesn't include carriage returns. Has
anyone gotten that working? What dropfile converter did you use? If
you're an sbbs sysop, please don't answer; it won't help.
Ok, my BBS isn't passing to the dropfile converter the proper ANSI settings,
so I don't think I can run this. Sorry, I don't have the ability to change
the to: field on my BBS...
